Taking place after hours in National Museum Cardiff’s main hall, this unique paint along experience is one you won’t want to miss.   Whether you’re passionate about painting or fancy trying something new, this event is for everyone – no experience is required to take part.   Unwind and switch off while learning a new skill or two.  This is the perfect midweek evening event for friends, colleagues, and couples.   Unleash your inner creative at this museum paint-along event. 

 

Topic: Monet’s Waterlilies  

To celebrate our world-famous impressionist art collection, our first museum paint-along of 2025 will focus on Monet’s Waterlilies.  

Transport yourself to Giverny in 1906 to Monet’s water garden.  Paint your interpretation of this renowned artwork which now calls Cardiff it’s home. 

 

This event is hosted by local artist Rachel Rasmussen.  She will guide you through step-by-step instructions while painting along with you.  

Important information: 

  • All materials will be provided and are included in the ticket price.  
  • Sip while you paint.  Our pop-up bar will be open for orders from start to finish.  Drinks are not included in the ticket price.   
  • This is an 18+ only event. 
  • Tickets are non-refundable and spaces are very limited. Grab your tickets while you can! 
  • Tickets include an after-hours visit to the impressionist gallery to see the painting in the flesh. 
  • This event will be delivered and guided in the artists’ first language, which is English.
