Talk:Behind the Scenes: Wales' first Celtic Chariot Burial
Find out more about the Pembrokeshire chariot burial discovered and excavated in 2018 and 2019.
Museum Curator and Archaeologist Adam Gwilt and Archaeological Conservator Louise Mumford will illustrate their ongoing work, telling the story of this amazing discovery and showing some of the highlight artefacts found within this exceptional 2,000-year-old burial. This is an opportunity to ask museum staff about their work in finding out about our past, as they care for and work towards publishing and presenting this once in a lifetime find over coming years.
Booking Information
- The tour will last for approximately 60 minutes. Please meet at the Ticketing Desk in the Main Hall.
- This talk takes place in the Archaeology Conservation Laboratory. Anyone entering the lab must wear toed shoes, no sandals.
- The tour costs £8 per person.
- The tour will be in the curator's first language which is English.
- Due to the behind-the-scenes nature of the tour there will be some spaces which will require you to be in close proximity to other visitors and the curator.
- Tickets are non-refundable, and no refunds or exchanges will be given to latecomers.
