Talk:Behind the Scenes: Amazing Discoveries from the Five Mile Lane

Visit behind the scenes to see up close some of the fascinating discoveries from the Five Mile Lane, near Barry with curator, Dai Hill .
The site's incredible longevity and diversity of use has produced wonderful treasures and tantalizing mysteries. We'll look at objects ranging all the way from Bronze Age burials, through Iron Age farms, Roman Villas and into a truly remarkable Early Medieval cemetery.  We'll also explore the archaeological stores and see the value of collections like this for use in future research.

• The tour will last for approximately 60 minutes.  Please meet at the Ticketing Desk in the Main Hall.
• This talk takes place in the Archaeology artefact study room.
• The tour costs £8 per person.
• The tour will be in the curator's first language which is English.
• Due to the behind-the-scenes nature of the tour there will be some spaces which will require you to be in close proximity to other visitors and the curator.
• Tickets are non-refundable, and no refunds or exchanges will be given to latecomers.
