Talk:Behind the Scenes: Roman Brooches: more than just pretty objects
Brooches are among the most commonly found items of Roman metalwork: both on excavations and as stray finds. This is a chance to see examples of the range of brooch types found. The visit will also consider what the study of brooches can add to our understanding of the Roman period.
