Who can run freely, and safely, through public space? This running club invites you to join us to run between Chapter and National Museum Cardiff with an artwork, and with each other.Playing with the experience of distance – how close can you get to an artwork, how related are two cultural institutions, how much kinship can we feel with each other across the politics of identity differences? – we'll run a 5km loop, led by Christine Mak. Christine will wear a bespoke running shirt that carries an artwork from Amgueddfa Cymru's Schools Outreach Collection, and we'll briefly visit both sites of To Shift a Stone as part of the run.Everyone is welcome: this running club is free, social and for all abilities. We'll run a 5km route on pavements and footpaths from Chapter, through Bute Park to the National Museum, and back again. Please wear running footwear and comfortable clothes that you're able to run in.If you're under 18, please bring an adult runner with you!
Booking is recommended but not required.
We’re always working on new and exciting exhibitions and events – why not be among the first to hear about them?
