Event:After Dark: Science on Show
After Dark: Science on Show is a free hands-on science and engineering evening suitable for all the family.
We’ll have lots of activities connected to sustainability as well as some favourites like the return of the robots.
You’ll be able to meet scientists and engineers from Amgueddfa Cymru and Cardiff University and explore loads of fun, interactive activities all while being in the museum after dark!
Full programme to come but we’ll have –
- A packed programme of entertaining talks and shows in the theatre including A Science Rapper's Guide to the Solar System by Jon Chase.
- Find out all about mammoths next to the new mammoth skeleton Tom Bones
- Robots, robots, robots!
- Discover the mammals of Wales and play ‘who’s poo is that?’
- Make your head spin with some brain games.
- Learn more about insects and make your own stick insect to take home
- Astronomy galore with facts and telescopes shown by Cardiff Astronomical Society.
