Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Rail

A short length of cast iron rail, roughly oval in section, but with flattened profile to the lower flanks of this oval. Top of rail is also flattened. One end is widened - possibly in order to fit into a chair of some description. From Dinorwig or Penrhyn Quarry, early 19th century?
