Cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, London shape, ogee handle; saucer standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into slightly curved spreading sides; both painted in polychrome enamels with a landscape view - the cup with two figures on a single arch bridge over a river, a building with a tower on one side, and a house on the other; saucer painted in the centre with a bridge over a river, with figures fishing, a road leading to a cottage with smoke rising from the chimney and a woman standing in the doorway; gilt foot rim to cup, gilt cup and saucer lip, and gilt foliate detail to handle.
