Samuel Richard Davies as an apprentice, possibly at Cardigan Foundry. S.R. Davies is seen on the left in working clothes, with another youth (possibly a clerk), circa 1890s. He was later an engineer with Jenkin Bros., Cardiff. Mounted on card.

The S.S. GLAMORGAN was completed in 1906 by Craig, Taylor & Co. Ltd. of Stockton-on-Tees for Jenkins Bros. of Cardiff. Sold in 1919 she was wrecked in the St. Lawrence River in November 1923.
