Busch, Canon August Otto Ernst von dem (of Hildesheim, 1704-1779. Busch was an amateur Hausmaler.)

Teapot and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a flat base, baluster body, wishbone handle with thumb piece, moulded up-curved spout with moulded leaf decoration, slightly domed cover with bud finial; body and cover decorated with incised, blackened lines, on one side with a tree stump with two sprouting branches, bird in flight above, opposite a tree stump with two sprouting branches, a bird swooping down onto a branch and an insect to the left, plant with flowers under spout, cover decorated with two insects opposite each other.
