Schooner, glass negative

Starboard broadside view of two masted schooner, possibly ROSCOVITE, Cardiff, c.1936.

Built 1908 by E. Bonne at Kerity, France. In 1930, she was fitted with a 2-cylinder oil engine by Motorenfabrik Oberursel AG, Oberursel, Germany. Owned by P.Meudal and E. le Foricher (registered at Treguier) and used for the 'sioni-onion' trade. 1939 - Sold to Somandshojskolen, Svendborg (Svendborg Maritime High School), renamed ARKEN and used as a sail training ship, replacing the former static vessel WHALE. 1970 - Sold. Fate unknown.
