Daily Telegraph Welsh Miners' Fund tankard presented to Mr David Evans for Gallant conduct. Silver tankard decorated with two raised ball lines near top and base of tankard surrounded either side by further decoration and centre front within a circle "VALOUR" on a scroll below which a lighted candle with "DAILY TELEGRAPH WELSH MINERS' FUND / PRESENTED TO / Mr. David Evans / FOR / GALLANT CONDUCT." below which a crossed pick and shovel, the whole surrounded by a lily wreath. Hallmarked London 1877.
