Teapot and cover

Teapot with cover, soft-paste porcelain, circular, etruscan shape that widens into a flattened collar toward the rim, loop handle with thumb rest, curved spout, small domed cover with conical finial, footring: the rim edge of the cover and teapot; middle of the teapot; and the collar edge of the teapot are decorated with gilt line borders, the collar is decorated with a continuous border of gold leaves, both pieces are banded with pink roseheads on beds of gilt moss, the cover at the base of the finial is banded with a gilt line and gold leaf border, the spout edges are gilded and the spout and the handle are decorated with leaf and flower sprigs in gold.
