Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Kidwelly tinplate works, photograph

Sheppard, Julian (Photographer)

Photograph captioned 'Cydweli Tinplate Works. The desolation which follows disuse. Part of the roof and of the wall of a corrugated steel sheet building have collapsed. A collection of metal frames and wooden walkways lies tangled on the ground. The brick chimneys of the heating furnaces, the tinning bays and the boiler houses look across at the scene from the background.' Mounted on card. Made for the exhibition RECORDING WALES 3 in 1970/1971.
