Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Parting plate (tramplate)

A parting plate (i.e. located at a junction/ponts) which had been built into an early 19th century cottage as a window lintel (unknown whether to be used as a lintel when cottage constructed or if it had been inserted later) at Bryn Cornel, Bryn, Llanelli. Likelihood that it derives from the Llangennech Tramroad or one of the Llangennech Collieries.
