A rectangular copper printing plate with an image of a run of slate wagons engraved in reverse. The printing plate is mounted on a rectangular block of wood.

The image is featured in Penrhyn Quarry’s marketing brochure ‘Slate. The Penrhyn Quarry’, and is titled ‘A slate run starting from the Quarry Terminus’. The brochure was published sometime between 1919 and 1927. The image also feature in the quarry’s marketing brochure ‘Penrhyn Quarry’, and is titled ‘Penrhyn Quarry. A slate run starting for the Port’. The date of this brochure is unknown.
