Sucrier with cover

Sucrier and cover, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a rectangular shaped foot rim, with bulging sides to shoulder, and concave curve to lip; rectangular loop handles with pointed terminals; raised cover with a pointed and grooved octagonal finial; painted with set pattern 223; underglaze blue and gilt scrolled arabesque border at the shoulder with red and pink flowers below; above the shoulder a gilt continuous vine pattern bordered by plain gilt bands; underglaze blue and gilt scroll border to the cover, with red and pink flowers; gilt detail to the finial.
