Mug, pearlware, cylindrical sides with basketwork moulding around the top and bottom, abgular handle; transfer-printed in underglaze blue with around the body an oriental pattern with a tower, fountain, Chinese figures and a distant pagoda, to the interior and exterior lip-rim and handle elaborate borders with scrollwork and flowers on a diaper-pattern ground.
