Mid to late 19th century pony shoe or heel plate. Possibly a pony shoe - though it could equally be a heel plate from a man's boot or clog. Found in the 300 foot level off Vaughn's shaft in Logau Lâs lead mine, Dyfed, approx 55ft. above the Lefel Fawr drainage adit on 19 July 1986.
