Stone ware, salt glazed, wheel thrown jug with prominent throwing lines, rising from a flat circular base, long narrow baluster form slightly tapering inwards above base, pronounced swelling below straight neck, pronounced rim, small flanged lip rising slightly above rim. Strap handle decorated with vertical incised lines, applied below neck and curving out over the widest part of the body. Dark grey blue pitted salt glaze, four sinuous honey coloured vertical lines on either side of body, honey coloured interior.
