Teapot and cover, redware; flat base with narrow foot-rim, globular body, fluted handle and spout, leaf moulding to terminals of handle, domed cover with spherical finial; press-moulded design to front and back of body comprising scenes of female falconers, encircled with garlands, scrolls, bells and basketwork patterns, the garland motif repeated on cover, which is attached to the pot with a metal chain.
