Jar, red earthenware coated in white slip, flattened lentoid footprint, vertical sides slightly curved and tapering in, two small lug handles below a pronounced shoulder, incurved neck with rounded applied rim; painted on each side with a landscape in underglaze colours, predominantly blue, brown and green, one featuring a narrow lake between hills spanned by a seven-arch bridge with a crow in the foreground and a bird in flight in the sky, the other featuring a road meandering between low hills with rounded outcrops with in the foreground a fish in water spanned by a single-arch bridge.
