Figure of "the blue boy", bone china, circular base; the boy is in 18th Century dress and is carrying an urn-shaped vase on his left shoulder, with his right hand he clasps a rose against his breast and he is leaning slightly against a moulded tree trunk, he is stained with a glaze in raphaelesque blue and the details of his dress and the vase, tree trunk and base are picked out in gold.
