Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Late Bronze Age harness disc

Convex disc with nine concentric embossed rings round a central pellet within a depressed circle. A flat circular strip is attached to the other side of the disc by four strips leaving four slots between the convex disc and the circular strip for straps. Nearly complete, but much worn.

Site Name: Dinorben, Parc-y-meirch

Notes: Found before 1868 with ?human bones in debris at the foot of a crag outside the NW corner of Dinorben hillfort on Parc y Meirch hill.
