Teapot

Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical form with rounded base and shoulder, standing on three straight moulded feet, raised guard for the cover at the neck, curving spout with foliate-moulding around the lower part, double-curved scroll handle with a moulded dog-head mask at the shoulder; finely painted in a golden brown monochrome with to either side of the body a rustic landscape, one with figures and cattle, the other with a river and bridge, gilt lines around the lower body and shoulder, the feet, spout and handle picked out in gilt.
