Pot, coffee and cover

Coffee pot, hard-paste porcelain, ovoid body standing on a spreading foot with ribbing where the body meets the foot, cylindrical neck with raised gallery and further ribbing at the shoulder, curving serpent-headed spout with foliate moulding around the base, high loop handle with foliate moulding at the terminals, slightly domed cover with acorn-style finial; decorated with bands of gilt around the foot, shoulder, gallery, spout, handle and finial, there may originally have been more gilt decoration but it has now all worn off.
