Bronze Age Gold from Wales

First worked as a Chemist, then taught himself miniature painting. Moved to Newcastle in 1836 and to London in 1839. Attained great popularity as a miniature painter. Between 1841 and 1866 he exhibited over 140 miniatures at the Royal Academy.
