Cup, tea and saucer

Teacup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, with an ogee handle; saucer, standing on a rounded foot rim, with straight spreading sides; both painted with set pattern 197, in black and red enamels, with gilding - the cup's pattern on a buff coloured ground, the saucer's pattern on an olive green ground; plain gilt bands bordering the set pattern, to foot rim and lip; gilt foliate detail to handle.
