Foolscap copy book with lined and plain pages cover missing; contains notes and sketches made by David Thomas, later tailor of Cross Inn, when an apprentice student at the Tailor and Cutter Academy in London, 1915.Includes pattern draughts and detailed notes concerning making up for items of servants' livery (coachman's overcoats), overcoats (Ulster and Inverness styles), motoring coats, bishops' frock coats, surplices and other clerical dress. Women's clothing, such as skirts (including a cycling skirt), bodices, riding jackets, trousers and skirts, capes, and military coats and frock mess jackets.
