Teapot, tin-glazed earthenware, short foot-rim, bulbous body, curving spout, twig-like handle, domed cover with flower finial; decorated in high temperature colours with to either side of the body of the teapot a landscape with ruined classical columns, one landscape with figures, scattered floral sprays and sprigs to the rest of the exterior sides between the lanscapes, around the upper body of the teapot and the rim of the cover a border of a waving brown line with flashes of other colours and issuing further floral sprigs, blue lines around the foot-rim and lip-rim of the teapot and the rim of the cover, the spout and handle picked out in blue, the finial painted in puce and green.
