North Sands type built 1944 by Marine Industries Ltd., Sorel, for the Canadian government. Managed for MoWT by Capper, Alexander & Co., London. 1950 – Sold to Counties Ship Management Co., London, and renamed ALENDI HILL. 1960 – Sold to Hong Kong owners and renamed HO FUNG. She was broken up in China in 1974.
