Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Teapot and cover, white earthenware with clear glaze, 'Stylecraft' shape SC31, inset square base with rounded corners, rising to a square shaped body with curved corners and slightly bulging sides, rectangular handle tapering at either end, thick, short curved spout that rises very slightly above the level of the rim, flat shoulders, circular shallow-domed cover, rectangular knop tapering at either end and with steam hole behind; decorated with the 'Red Domino' pattern, which comprises a thick, hand-painted band of red enamel with evenly spaced dots of white enamel in relief, this covers the upper spout, the shoulder/upper edge of body and the outer face of the handle, also the upper face of the knop.
