Cup, tea and saucer

Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, shallow rounded sides and scroll handle; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the cup a goldfinch swooping over a landscape, two insects to the rest of the exterior with a further insect to the interior. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the well a bird perched in a landscape, four insects around the sides of the well.
