Pot, coffee and cover

Limoges (Factory)

Coffee pot and cover, hard-paste porcelain, ovoid-shaped body with a high neck that has concave sides and with a flattened collar that has a small vertical rim, circular spreading foot, loop handle with thumb rest and scroll terminal, curved spout terminating in a Griffin mask, flat cover with cone finial; gold bands decorate the base and foot and neck and rim of the pot and the rim of the cover, the base and the neck of the pot and the cover are decorated with a gold wheatsheaf border, the top of the pot is banded with a continuous gilt leaf border, the top half of the finial is gilded.
