Resistor bank

Resistor bank comprising six horizontal, double bar frames mounted in a vertical stack approx. 1.5m high x 1.0m x 0.4m, weight around 1.5 cwt, located in driver's control cabin in summit station. Used on the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway, dating from the conversion from water power to electric power in 1922.
