Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Roman copper alloy strap end

An elongated lozenge sheet. The body is pierced by four rivet holes, surrounded by one or two incised concentric circles. There was also the remains of a similar hole at the foot, which is now broken off just above that point. Three of the rivets from the rectangle of holes on the body survive. The top extends into a tapering neck which curves forward and ends in a cross-piece.
