Carbide lamp

Miners carbide lamp (small type) used by David Davies, Cadle at Garngoch Colliery. Brass screw fuel vessel base with brass housing for lighting mechanism above with attachment hook at rear. Oval hole on top with lever to adjust strength of flame. Maker's name and patent dates engraved side of top. Maker's name engraved on lever mechanism. With spare pot 75.48I/8.
