Ref.11.140 Adana eight-five hand platen printing press for amateur use, missing chases, rollers and inking disc. Unaccessioned and unprovenanced. Not required for main collection as it is an amateur rather than a professional press, and is of mid to late C20 date which is far later than the late C19 focus date of the printing collections; to be placed in EDC as Steph Mastoris, Head of NWMS, has stated that he would like it to be available for NWMS printing workshops and demonstrations.
