Iron Age copper alloy shield fitting (electrotype)

Flat, copper alloy sheet, pelta shaped plate. Originally one of a pair flanking the central boss cover (32.175/1). Plain, but with three perforations presumably for the attachment of decrative mounts. The edge of the plaque has numerous rivet holes for securing to the shield backing.
