Stoneware, salt glazed, wheel thrown cranejug with prominent throwing lines, rising from a flat tapering base, long narrow form, slightly tapering inwards above base, before swelling below handle, long narrow slightly waisted neck, pronounced rim, small flanged lip rising slightly above rim. High strap handle, decorated with vertical incised lines, large thumb sized indent where handle joins body. Mottled grey blue salt glaze, four vertical sinuous lines on either side revealing grey body (?), three incised lines encircling body just above base of handle, khaki green interior.
