Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Medieval gold ring brooch

Decorated with six settings containing alternately three cameos of chalcedony and two cabochon rubies. One setting empty and the pin is missing. The cameos show a man's head in profile with a coif.

The goldwork may be Parisian, set with rubies and cameo repairs which show male heads in profile.
