Cup and saucer

Cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and rounded sides flaring slightly at the rim, angular handle; the sides decorated with cupid in a decorative panel, the Italian inscription "La prima diachiara...etc" surrounded by puce scrolls, gilding to the rim, foot and handle. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; the well painted with Cupid spinning, surrounded by puce scrolls, to the centre of the well the inscription "Da segue...etc", gilding to the rim and foot.
