ss JAMES CALDWELL (7176gt) : Completed September 1942 at Bethlehem - Fairfield Shipyards, Baltimore. She took part in the Normandy Invasion at Omaha and Utah Beachheads as an Army Transport vessel, and afterwards joined the US National Defense Fleet.
