Teapot and cover

Teapot, soft-paste porcelain, inset base, globular body, short cylindrical lip-rim, short hexagonal spout, s-shaped handle, square in section, with grooved sides and a modelled leaf ornament at the shoulder, rounded domed cover fitted with a silver rim and with a button finial to the top, the exterior body of the teapot divided into four panels by pairs of vertical grooves, these panels then ornamented with applied flowering plants, three applied floral sprigs around the top of the cover; left in the white and glazed. The lip of the spout chipped.
