Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Merchant Navy, jacket

Dark blue Merchant Navy Captain's jacket that belonged to (the late) Captain R Cook, a descendant of Captain James Cook, the explorer. Rank insignia both sleeves at wrist, gold buttons, two waist pockets at front and breast pocket on left hand side above which medal ribbons for World War II period. Jacket is silk lined with two inside pockets on each breast and maker's label on inside right pocket.
