Sugar bowl and cover, hard-paste porcelain, circular with curved sides that narrow in toward a circular pedestal base, two moulded mask handles, domed cover with concave sides and a ball-shaped finial; the edges of the base and the interior and exterior of the rim and the rim of the cover are banded with gilt borders, both pieces are banded with a continuous border of gold leaves.
