O.B.E. medal in case. Presented by George VI to Mr T.L. Verian. Gilt O.B.E. medal in the shape of cross with round disc at centre. Obverse of disc has profile of King and Queen with words 'For God and the Empire' in band around. Reverse has monogram of King. Above cross is a gilt crown with red & grey ribbon attached. Medal is fixed into a 'velvet' and 'silk' lined box. Box is black with letters 'O.B.E.' in gold on the top.
