Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Fox

Woodrow, Sophie (Potter)

Figure, zoomorphic, soft-paste porcelain with clear glaze, the head of a fox, the body formed of a series of assymetrically placed, pointed protrusions, perhaps resembling the form of the tip of a fox's tail, standing on four slender legs; lightly incised over the body and head to give the impression of fur, the eyes pierced.
