Vessel, porcelain, slightly waisted cylindrical base with turned moulding at the bottom and inset underneath, the body elliptical in plan with vertical sides and high shoulders built up with clay 'impasto', a turned narrow flaring neck; the base and neck stained black, the white surface of the body roughly modelled with clay 'impasto' and decorated with black-stained sgraffito marks, stained marks in blue and orange and impressed snippets of text.
