Badge 'The Queer Emporium'. The Queer Emporium opened in the Royal Arcade, Cardiff, in June 2021 as a pop up for Pride Month. It is believed to be the first Queer Emporium in the UK, and possibly the world. It features fifteen LGBTQ+ independent businesses, encouraging the LGBTQ+ community to shop queer during Pride Month. The venue is also hosting events, starting with a drag night on Saturday 26 June. The Queer Emporium has now been confirmed as a permanent shop.
